PROFESSOR OF ARRANGING
Lee Stovall currently teaches 6-12 choir for the South Milwaukee School District, where he also directs the a cappella groups Delta V and The Poprockets. A founding member of the University of Wisconsin-Madison a cappella group Fundamentally Sound, he has been interested in promoting contemporary a cappella education since college, arranging and coaching for groups from around the world, including some work receiving ICCA and CARA awards, and features on BOCA and BOHSA. He also has volunteered for SingStrong Chicago, A Cappella Fest, and has attended seminars with The Vocal Company and Vocomotion studios. Stovall has also worked with Camp A Cappella, directing ensembles from the middle school to collegiate levels. A proud member of the AEA, WSMA, WCDA, and CASA, Stovall has also judged for Varsity Vocals, and worked as a nominator for the CARA and AVA awards. Outside of the contemporary a cappella world, Lee sings with the Madison Choral Project and Present Music, two professional classical ensembles.
